Advanced AI Agents Workshop with No-Code: NYC

October 20th 2025 Edition

Hey NYC No-Coders! đź‘‹

Earlier this month we vibe-coded our way to a working product in 25 minutes, and it's wild how fast ideas turned into reality. Now we're taking that momentum and diving deep into AI Agents. If you've been building with agents and want to unlock their full potential, this one's for you.

🗓️ Next Up: Advanced AI Agents Workshop

When: Tuesday, October 21st, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: Midtown Manhattan
What to Expect: A hands-on deep-dive that takes your AI Agent skills from experimental to production-ready

Ready to go beyond the basics? This isn't your typical intro workshop. We're gathering builders who've already gotten their hands dirty with AI Agents and want to push further—into the tricky stuff, the real-world applications, the optimizations that actually matter.

What's happening:

  • Advanced agent configurations and custom prompts for complex tasks
  • Real-world use cases: when to use AI Agents vs traditional automation
  • Debugging and optimizing agent performance for production
  • Integration strategies across your entire tech stack
  • Best practices from builders shipping agent-powered solutions

This workshop is for you if you've:

  • Built at least one AI Agent (Make.com or similar)
  • Got comfortable with no-code automation concepts
  • Have specific business problems you want AI Agents to solve
  • Are ready to troubleshoot your toughest automation challenges

What to bring: Your laptop, an existing agent you've built (if you have one), and your hardest automation questions. Come prepared to build, debug, and ship.

🎤 Meet Your Speaker: Mark Campos

We're thrilled to have Mark Campos, Co-founder of XRay.Tech, leading our workshop! Mark brings incredible depth to automation and AI—he's on a mission to eliminate 1 billion hours of mindless work for humans (his philosophy: "robots should do the routine, humans should do the remarkable").

Mark's background:

  • Current: Co-founder of XRay.Tech, fractional COO service
  • Previous decade: Product Management, UX, Data Science & Marketing at Waze (Google)
  • COVID era: Led Marketing at CVKey Project, helping communities recover through tech

Mark understands both the technical side and the human impact of intelligent automation. You're learning from someone who's been building the future of work for years! 🚀

🙌 A Special Thanks to Our Sponsors

Before we dive into what's next, let's talk about the amazing partners who made today possible.

Make.com - Our Automation Powerhouse

You know how support tickets can feel like an endless avalanche? At our last event we used Make. to tackle this exact problem together. In that session we built an AI agent together using their platform—one that intelligently reads support tickets, cross-references them with our documentation, and drafts thoughtful responses. No more starting from scratch on every ticket. No more copy-pasting the same answers. Just smart automation that gives our team superpowers while keeping that crucial human touch.

If you've been drowning in repetitive workflows or wondering how to add AI to your stack without a PhD in machine learning, Make.com is where you start. They make it visual, they make it powerful, and they make it actually make sense. Try a free month of Make.com here.

XRay.Tech - The Experts Leading Tonight's Build

Here's what made that event special—XRay's co-founder personally taught us how to build that AI agent. Not a pre-recorded demo. Not a sales pitch. Real, hands-on guidance from someone who lives and breathes this stuff.

When you're looking for partners who know automation inside and out, who can guide your team through the technical stuff, and who actually care about helping you succeed—that's XRay. Connect with them here.

⚡ Event Recap: Vibe Coding with Zite

The Numbers

NYC builders showed up and built a working product in 25 minutes flat. We vibe-coded an SMS follow-up tracker that tells you who needs a text and even suggests what to say. The speed was wild, the energy was high, and the results were surprisingly production-ready. 🔥

Your Burning Questions (Answered!)

Q: What exactly is "vibe coding"?
A: It's using AI-powered tools to go from idea to working product fast—like, really fast. Think Claude + Zite working together to turn conversational prompts into actual applications.

Q: How specific do prompts need to be?
A: Very. Vague instructions = the tool going rogue and changing things you didn't want changed. The more specific you are, the better your results.

Q: What's the deal with placeholder data in Zite?
A: Zite loves adding fake data by default. Pro tip: explicitly tell it to pull from your actual database or you'll end up with sample data everywhere.

Q: Any language gotchas to watch out for?
A: Yes! "Testing" means different things in dev vs. non-technical contexts. This word can cause confusion fast—be clear about what kind of testing you mean.

Q: What worked really well?
A: The ability to select individual elements for updates was great. The prompt improvement suggestions saved us time when we got lazy. And the built-in database feature? Butter smooth.

Q: Should I use Claude (or your LLM of choice) first before Zite?
A: Highly recommend it! We used Claude to workshop our idea and build a strong starting prompt (with a fictional boss and tight deadline for pressure). Made our prompts sharper and the final build better.

Pro tip from the night: Adding time pressure constraints to your Claude prompts actually makes them sharper and adds a real feeling of success when you ship!

What We Built

A fully functional SMS follow-up tracker that integrates with your contacts database, identifies who needs a follow-up, and uses AI to suggest personalized message content. Built in 25 minutes with Zite. Check it out →

Our builders also showed off some impressive projects:

The Bottom Line: Vibe coding isn't replacing traditional development for everything, but it's dramatically expanding what's possible for builders at every level.
