Your AI does the work on the 23rd, and you show off yours next Saturday ⚡
Dive in for our upcoming AI Events and to join our Builders network!
April 16 2026 Edition
Hey NYC No-Coders! ⚡
Two events on the calendar, one we're co-hosting with Venn.ai, one that's all ours. Whether you want to see AI actually do things for you or show off what you've been building, there's a spot for you.
📋 In This Edition
🤖 Thursday: AI + Your Daily Tech Stack Workshop — Apr 23
🎤 Saturday: Show & Tell — Apr 25
🤝 Ongoing: No-Code: NYC Builder Network
🙏 Sponsor Love: Make.com & XRay.tech
🔭 On the Horizon: Coffee in the Park + OpenClaw demo with KiloClaw
🤖 Thursday: How to Plug AI Into Your Daily Tech Stack
When: Thursday, April 23 | 5:00–6:30 PM
Where: NomadWorks, 1216 Broadway, New York, NY 10001
Hosted by: Venn.ai by Barndoor × No-Code: NYC
Most people use AI like a fancy search engine. At this workshop, you'll see something different, AI that actually does things. Schedule a meeting, draft an email, pull data from your apps. It handles it. No code required.
This one is co-hosted with our friends at Venn.ai, and it's designed specifically for people who are tech-curious but not developers. If you've been wanting to get hands-on with AI but haven't found the right entry point, this is it.
What you'll do:
- Watch AI draft a follow-up email, find a contact in your CRM, or add a calendar event, live
- Connect AI to tools you already use (Slack, Gmail, Notion, and more) without writing a line of code
- Learn how to stay in control & not the other way around
- Try it yourself with guided hands-on time
What to bring: Your laptop + a free Venn.ai account + one task you'd love to automate.
🎤 Saturday: Show & Tell — April 25th
When: Saturday, April 25
Where: Nomadworks Time Square - 240 W 40th St, New York, NY 10018

No polish required. No investor deck. Just builders showing what they've actually been making.
This is one of our favorite kind of events! The room fills up with people who built something weird, something clever, or something they're genuinely proud of, and then we all learn from each other. That's it.
Want to present? We want to hear from you. Sign up to show off your work here:
🤝 No-Code: NYC Builder Network
We end every event with one slide that says "Now Go Make Friends" because the best thing about this community isn't the tools, it's the people.
Not everyone can make every event. So we built an easier way to find each other.
Builder Network is simple. You share:
- An Ask — something you're looking for help with
- A Give — something you can offer
- Your LinkedIn
I'll personally review every submission and make a real one-to-one intro. No algorithm. No spam. Just a connection with someone in the community who gets what you're building.

Make.com — The Automation Engine Behind the Community
If you've been to one of our events, you've probably seen Make.com in action. It's the tool we keep coming back to when we need to connect apps, move data, and build workflows that actually run on their own. The visual builder makes it easy to see exactly what's happening at every step — which means less debugging and more shipping. Whether you're automating a single task or orchestrating a multi-step pipeline across a dozen tools, Make is where we'd start.
XRay.tech — Know Who's in the Room
Mark Campos and the XRay team have been showing up for this community since the early days — as speakers, collaborators, and genuine believers in what we're building together. XRay helps you instantly surface context on anyone you're talking to: their background, their company, what they've built. It's the kind of tool that makes every meeting more useful and every intro more informed.
🔭 On the Horizon
Two things we're cooking up for later this spring:
☕ Coffee Chats in Central Park — Low-key, no agenda, just builders catching up outside. Details coming soon.
🦞 OpenClaw Demo with KiloCode — We'll be doing a live demo of OpenClaw and getting hands-on. Stay tuned for the date.
Until Next Time...
Two events this week. Come to one. Come to both. Either way, see you soon.
